Boston Through My Eyes - A Boston Music Blog: Jeff Mangum: Jordan Hall (Boston, MA) 9.10.2011 - Pictures/Audio

slyke25:

What a beautiful show last night.

I managed to record three songs. Not the best quality, but it gives you an idea of what the show was like.

For all of you who could not attend (this show sold out in less than a minute back in February), this is for you.

Enjoy.

To counter the negativity

A friend posted this and its trueness depressed me.  So…GOOD COVERS!<3<3

If you’re gonna listen to anything I bigafied my two favorites because they made me THAT freaking excited.

but they’re all good

Iron and Wine covers the postal service

Mushaboom: Conor Oberst covers Feist

Leonard Cohen IS the messiah and all so…yeah pretty cover

The Morning Pages cover Lady Gaga.  Honestly I think it’s better, but I’m not a big lady gaga fan so…

OK SO I KNOW it’s not EXACTLY a cover…since Mott The Hoople recorded it first-but since David Bowie actually wrote it and he recorded it later I think it kinda counts

Of Montreal Covers David fucking Bowie.  How perfect is that?

Jeff Mangum covers Chris Knox’s Sign the dotted line.  Pretty gorgeous, eh?

.

Joan Baez covers Bob Dylan
